Day 1 – 14th of October
Arrival Day in Gran Canaria
You will be collected at Las Palmas airport by a private driver holding a board with your name on it and then you will be dropped off at the spectacular 6 Bedroom villa, which will be our venue and your accommodation for the week.
Each beautiful room at the villa is finished to a very high standard, 4 boasting ensuite bathrooms and is located just a short 20 minute car journey from Las Palmas airport.
That evening We will share a delicious, traditional Spanish meal at the villa as a group, which will be catered for us by professional chefs.
Day 2 – 15th of October
Optional Day Outing (£125) OR Free Day
Whether you decide to enjoy a relaxing pool day at the venue or prefer to attend the optional outing; the first day is an opportunity to relax and enjoy some free time before we begin our workshops.
Breakfast will be catered for you by our chef for the week.
The optional Outing is an adventure around the islands hidden gems, taking you off the beaten track,away from the tourist traps to show you some of Gran Canarias most picturesque locations.
Led by local tour guide, Jose, who was born and raised on the island, you will spend the full day exploring different locations; returning to the villa at roughly 17:00, giving you a chance to freshen up and relax/nap before dinner.
Around 19:00 We will share pre-dinner drinks together at the villas unique Wet bar and then we will be served a delicious banquet which we will enjoy together as a group.
Day 3 – 16th of October
Workshop Day 1:
Breakfast will be served by the chefs in the morning before we begin shooting for the day.
We will spend the first day shooting from the venue and utilising the interior of the villa as well as the huge grounds in which it sits.
We will of course work with natural light but spend time focusing on working with artificial lighting and how to utilise them in harsher natural lights.
We will stop for a long lunch, which will be catered by our private chefs, and then we will resume shooting again for another hour or so before we retire for showers/siestas
For our evening meal, we will travel to a lovely local Spanish restaurant, where the staff will arrange and cook for us a delicious feast consisting of traditional local cuisine and wines.
Day 4 – 17th of October
Workshop Day 2:
On the second day of the workshop, we will begin a little bit later so giving you abit of a chance for a lie in bed.
We will have a cooked breakfast provided for us by our chefs between 9am-11am and a leisurely morning before we set of to Marina Es Deportivo in Puerto Rico for lunchtime.
Once we arrive we will be greeted by Jose; our Captain of the huge private luxury catamaran that we will be chartering for the day
We will then set sail on the open water; headed to the gorgeous beach of Amadores where we will drop anchor.
During our trip to Amadores, we will utilise the huge catamaran for our photo shoots, as well as the ocean once we drop anchor and there will also be options for swimming/snorkelling too if you would like to.
We will then set sail for approximately 1 hour to the breathtaking arguineguín Marina where we will drop anchor for some lunch on the boat.
After a leisurely Canarian style lunch, we will set sail again along the coast, passing the stunning Anfi Del Mar and Taurito as we continue our photoshooting.
As we sail along, we will pass Picturesque Vista Points, enhancing the whole experience and inviting opportunities for some incredible photographic captures.
As we pass some of the islands most incredible beaches and coves, we will drop anchor as we spot Picturesque beaches and coves to utilize for our photoshoots.
As the day draws to a close, We will then set sail back to the marina in Puerto Mogán and then back to the villa for our evening meal.
Our wonderful chefs at the venue will prepare us another delicious feast, to finish of another fabulous day.
Day 5 – 18th of October
Workshop Day 3:
We will be rising early to arrive at our first location for the sunrise at Gran Canaria’s famous Maspalomas Sand Dunes.
This picturesque location stretches over 1000 acres and is known for for being one of the most majestic spaces on this beautiful island.
We will take amazing images in this magical place as the sun rises before moving onto our second location; GUI GUI beach.
GUI GUI is one of those special secluded beaches that once discovered, is never forgotten.
Gui Gui is a remote terrain that can only be accessed by either a 4 hour hike or by water taxi- the latter being our mode of transport to this secluded hidden gem.
We will board our transport at Marina Es Deportivo and set sail for 45 minutes to our destination.
This remarkable beach is surrounded by stunning high cliffs, rocky ravines and clear aquamarine and azure-blue waters.
From the treacherous rock formations to the shore which hides when the tide is high, the atmosphere in Gui Gui is breathtaking.
In the distance, Teide volcano from the neighboring island of Tenerife seems to wave and congratulate those who succeeded in finding this hidden treasure.
This will set the scene for our second shoot of the day.
We will finish our days shooting just after lunchtime and will find ourselves a lovely spot on the beach to roll out our blankets, chairs and parasols and enjoy a luxury picnic basket that will be prepared ahead by our wonderful chefs, along with our cool box containing cold refreshments to enjoy a luxury picnic lunch on the beach.
After lunch we will head back to the villa, where you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the pool or if you prefer then you can venture out and spend the afternoon exploring more of this beautiful island.
At 18:00 / 19:00 we will congregate in the villas gardens for a BBQ, Drinks and music and enjoy our last evening together as a group.
Day 6 – 19th of October
Checkout
You will be dropped back at Las Palmas airport ready for your flight back home.
